Introducing Crestron RAD (Rapid Agile Drivers). As technology evolves, so does Crestron’s ever-popular Crestron Connected program. With Crestron’s new RAD program, OEM manufacturers who wish to integrate their devices with Crestron control systems will be able to develop two-way drivers that support the popular IR, RS232, IP, and HDMI-CEC protocols. Once developed, integrators can simply pull down the appropriate drivers from Crestron’s Driver database and in literally seconds, the device will be recognized by the control system. What’s even better is that RAD does not require firmware updates – the drivers can quickly be updated on-the-fly.
