Crestron Enhances Its Presentation Portfolio with Crestron AirBoard Whiteboard Capture System

Crestron brings a new level of connectivity with the ability to capture, display, and share whiteboard content with anyone, anywhere

Rockleigh, NJ – June 7, 2019 – Crestron, a global leader in advanced workplace technology, is unveiling the latest addition to its presentation portfolio. With Crestron AirBoard, any dry-erase whiteboard can be connected to any network. Now, anyone with an internet connection can view whiteboard content on their laptop, tablet, or mobile device.

Designed to enhance student participation, employee collaboration, and secure information dissemination; Crestron AirBoard helps facilitate real-time collaboration across multiple offices, buildings, and campuses, while providing local participants with unobstructed views from room displays.

“With Crestron AirBoard, we are bringing the last analog device onto the network,” said Fred Bargetzi, Crestron CTO. “AirBoard completes the connected classroom and smart workplace by enabling full remote collaboration and participation. We see AirBoard as the ideal enhancement to the capabilities of Crestron AirMedia® 2.0 wireless presentation systems.”

Capture. Display. Share. Easily.
AirBoard is simple to attach and works right out-of-the-box; there’s no unique interface, no programming, and no additional accessories needed. Local participants can view whiteboard content on room displays, while remote participants can view on any personal device. To enhance collaboration and productivity, the whiteboard content can be recorded, captured, and shared with anyone. AirBoard allows for easy integration with the most popular note taking and project management tools, while ensuring that information dissemination is easy and secure.

Seamless integration with AirMedia 2.0
To add wireless presentation capabilities, simply pair AirBoard with an AirMedia AM-200 or AM-300. To add enhanced control, simply connect a Crestron touch screen to the paired AirMedia device. Now, you can view participants, start and stop recording, and send a snapshot right from the touch screen. This simple, low-cost solution provides wired and wireless presentation, whiteboard capture, and content sharing all on one platform.
