The Essence line promises the ultimate in installed audio design, delivering simply stunning sound quality while minimizing any impact on your décor thanks to paintable zero-bezel grilles. Streamlined installation of each speaker is facilitated through a three-point, spring-loaded swiveling dog mounting system optimized to minimize interference with obstructions within the ceiling space.

The Essence IC6-W-T model provides a pair of 2-way in-ceiling speakers featuring 6-1/2 inch (165 mm) long-throw woven Kevlar® woofers for deep, defined low end, and large 1.1 inch (28 mm) advanced synthetic polymer dome tweeters for crisp, fluent highs, articulate midrange, and consistent coverage across a wider listening area. Cast aluminum woofer baskets assure pure, uncolored bass response. Offset post-mounting of the tweeters reduces midrange frequency response anomalies normally caused by interference between the woofer and the back of the tweeter. Precision 4th order crossovers utilizing the highest quality components ensure a full, rich and detailed response across the spectrum. Power handling is an impressive 150 Watts (program), with a wide frequency response from 45 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB).

Crestron warrants to the original end purchaser that this Crestron Speaker Product, when purchased directly from Crestron or an authorized Crestron Dealer, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product except for speaker grills and outdoor rated speakers, which are warranted for five (5) years. Crestron will at its option and expense either repair the defect or replace the Speaker Product with a new or remanufactured Product or a reasonable equivalent. In cases where a new model is substituted, a modification to the mounting surface may be required. If mounting surface modification is required, Crestron assumes no responsibility or liability for such modifications.
