Crestron Fusion® on-premises software (SW‑FUSION‑P‑L) is a scheduling and monitoring solution hosted on a local server that provides powerful tools for enterprises, including network room scheduling, remote help desk, global device monitoring, and data collection and reporting. Crestron Fusion enables organizations to monitor and manage AV equipment, BMS (building management systems), room scheduling, lighting, shades, climate, and energy consumption from a single platform.

Crestron Fusion deployments can include Fusion RV® (Fusion RoomView®) software, Fusion EM® (Energy Management) software or both, based on organizational needs:

  • Fusion RV enables facility and IT managers to centrally monitor, manage, and schedule AV presentation, video conferencing, and capture resources. The software can track device and room usage to schedule routine maintenance, provide real-time remote technical support, and receive instant alert notifications. Robust reporting features provide data to make more effective purchasing and scheduling decisions.
  • Fusion EM manages and monitors renewable and sustainable energy sources in real-time and displays historical usage data for day, week, month, or year. The software also provides environmental control, including lighting, shades, and climate to intelligently integrate with room scheduling and occupancy levels for greater energy savings. Fusion EM is able to track the building's carbon footprint while enabling facility managers to easily analyze energy consumption.

Room Scheduling
Crestron Fusion room scheduling integrates with many popular calendaring programs to improve the scheduling workflow and room usage for an enterprise. Connected room scheduling touch screens allow a room to be reserved on the spot for an ad hoc meeting. A room availability sign can also be paired to the touch screen, allowing for occupancy status to be reported instantly to the scheduling app for no‑shows and unscheduled room usage.

Crestron Fusion integrates directly with Microsoft Exchange Server® software (for users of Outlook® software and Microsoft 365® software), the Google Calendar™ calendaring app (including G Suite™ software), IBM® Notes® software, CollegeNET® 25Live® scheduling software, or Ad Astra® software.

.AV Framework Software
Crestron Fusion is compatible with .AV Framework™ software for simplified room control and scheduling. .AV Framework software is a web-based management solution that is used to deploy scalable Crestron® enterprise room solutions without requiring any programming. For more information on the capabilities supported by .AV Framework, visit crestron.com/avframework.

Help Desk and Support
Help desk functionality allows building and IT administrators to get alerts for remotely resolving room issues quickly. Meeting attendees can make help requests directly from the touch screen in the room, and support staff can resolve issues by taking remote control of devices in the room. Technical documentation and other resources can be organized by room for quick reference.

Global Device Monitoring
Crestron Fusion provides real-time alerts that allow support staff to proactively manage device issues, helping to ensure that rooms are fully functional and ready for meetings. Crestron Fusion pushes instant status notifications for any connected device in a room on the network so that support staff can take immediate action. Reminders for routine room and device maintenance can also be scheduled in the event of a meeting no-show.

Data and Reporting
Crestron Fusion can be used to collect data and generate results to help organizations optimize their space usage.

  • Usage reports show how often a room is booked, when it is booked, who is using it, and how long it is used.
  • Occupancy reports show whether the room was occupied when it was booked and how many attendees use the room per meeting.
  • Device reports show how often the AV or VTC system in the room is used, which sources are used, and how often room displays are used.

Crestron Fusion Dashboard
Crestron Fusion Dashboard connects Business Intelligence (BI) software to the Crestron Fusion software database, generating powerful analytics and data visualizations. These custom reports allow enterprises to acquire valuable insight into how meeting rooms, facilities, and AV equipment are being used and how energy is being consumed. A template for Microsoft Power BI® software is provided by default, and additional custom templates can be created by customers.
