The TPS-XVGA-BV is an enhanced version of the TPS-XVGA digitizer card that streamlines the bulk of wiring ordinarily required to deliver RGB video to the touchpanel. Employing balanced RGB video (BV) circuitry, just a single flexible "triamese" cable connects from the touchpanel to a separate interface module. The 15' triamese cable (included) carries Cresnet, video*, audio, and RGB signals between the touchpanel and the TPS-IMC-BV interface module. The TPS-IMC-BV (included) installs neatly out of view and provides all of the conventional connections for power, Cresnet, audio, video*, and RGB. (The TPS-IMC-BV supplants the TPS-IMPC module that ships with the touchpanel.)

The TPS-XVGA-BV is essential when using the SMK-6000 swivel-mount accessory in combination with an Isys touchpanel displaying RGB. Only the triamese cable is flexible and small enough to fit inside the SMK-6000 mechanism.

The TPS-XVGA-BV card installs in an Isys tilt touchpanel model TPS-6000 or TPS-5000 to enable real time display of the RGB video signal from a computer or other non-interlaced video source. The TPS-XVGA-BV supports scaling of signals with resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 to the native resolution of the touchpanel for full screen display, or to any sized window.

Note: The TPS-XVGA-BV is only compatible with the TPS-5000 and TPS-6000 tilt model touchpanels. For lectern/wall mount models (TPS-6000L or TPS-5000L), and for the TPS-TPI Touchpanel Interface, use the TPS-XVGAL RGB Graphics card.

*A separate video card is required to enable video display on the touchpanel.
