The CCS-UC-CODEC-200 is a compact codec designed to serve as the core of a complete Crestron RL® 2 Group Collaboration System for Skype® for Business.

The CCS-UC-CODEC-200 is a compact codec designed to serve as the core of a complete Crestron RL® 2 Group Collaboration System. Crestron RL 2 is an advanced group collaboration solution that combines Crestron® hardware with Skype® for Business software. The CCS-UC-CODEC-200 is designed to be used along with the Crestron TS-1051-C Tabletop Touch Screen Console, and is available only as part of a Crestron RL 2 system package containing the codec, touch screen console, and other components.

  1. The USB and analog microphone inputs are mutually exclusive.
  2. The USB and analog audio outputs are mutually exclusive.
  3. The TS-1051-C touch screen console and CCS-UC-CODEC-200 codec are sold together as part of a Crestron RL 2 system package.
  4. The HDMI input requires an appropriate adapter or interface cable to accommodate a DVI or DisplayPort Multimode source. The HDMI outputs require appropriate adapters or interface cables to accommodate DVI displays. CBL-HD-DVI interface cables are available separately.
  5. For DM 8G+ wiring, use Crestron DM-CBL-8G DigitalMedia 8G Cable or third-party CAT5e (or better) UTP or STP. The maximum wire length for DM 8G+ is 330 ft (100 m) between devices. Shielded cable and connectors are recommended to safeguard against unpredictable environmental electrical noise which may impact performance at resolutions above 1080p. Refer to the Crestron DigitalMedia Design Guide, Doc. #4546 for complete DigitalMedia system design guidelines. All wire and cables are sold separately.
