Horizon® 2 Button Assembly, Style 1, Not Engraved, Almond

The HZ2-BTNS-1-A BLANK is a replacement button assembly for Horizon® 2 dimmers, switches, and keypads. It consists of five single pushbuttons (Style 1) and does not include engraving.

The blank button assembly can be
 used as is or engraved by a third-party.

To provide a variety of button configurations, button assemblies are available in six styles and each style is available in white, black, almond, white glass, and black glass.

The HZ2-BTNS-1-A BLANK is a replacement button assembly for Horizon® 2 dimmers, switches, and keypads. It consists of five single pushbuttons (Style 1) and does not include engraving.

The blank button assembly can be used as is or engraved by a third-party. Engraved buttons can be illuminated using the LED backlight on dimmers, switches, and keypads to provide additional customization and feedback.

Field-Replaceable Button Assemblies

Button assemblies can be installed on Horizon devices without removing the device from the wall. Button assembly engravings are backlit when installed in devices that provide LED backlighting. Backlighting colors can be adjusted using Crestron Home software or other Crestron programming tools.

Button Assembly Engraving

Custom laser-etched engraving is used to identify the functionality of each button on the button assembly. 

Multicolor Backlit Buttons

The engraved buttons are illuminated using the device's RGB LED backlights. Each button can be assigned custom color backlighting. The LED backlight provides feedback by changing the intensity, changing the color, or flashing to show that an action is being performed.

Button Assemblies
Button Assembly Replacement button assemblies are available in six styles. Each style includes one or more button types, five color options, and custom engraving or blank.

Horizon® 2 keypads, dimmers, and switches include a button assembly with the order. Refer to the Horizon 2 device product page to see the button assembly that is included with the device and the button assemblies that are compatible with the device.
Styles Button assemblies are available with the following style options:
  • Style 1: 5 single buttons
  • Style 2: 4 single buttons and 1 split rocker button;
    Split rocker button is located in the lowest button position
  • Style 3: 4 single buttons and 1 split rocker button;
    Split rocker button is located in the second lowest button position
  • Style 4: 3 single buttons and 2 split rocker buttons;
    Split rocker buttons are located in the two lowest button positions
  • Style 5: 1 medium rocker button and 2 single buttons;
    Single buttons are located in the two lowest button positions
  • Style 6: 1 large rocker button
Button Types The following button types are available:
  • Single button: One press location provides center press functionality. The button can be engraved in the center. One backlight is used for the engraving.
  • Split rocker button: Two press locations provide left and right press functionality. The button can be engraved in the center, left, and right. One backlight is shared for all engravings.
  • Medium rocker button: Two press locations provide top and bottom press functionality. The button can be engraved in the center, top, and bottom. A separate backlight is used for each engraving position.
  • Large rocker button: Two press locations provide top and bottom press functionality. The button can be engraved in the center, top, and bottom. A separate backlight is used for each engraving position.

NOTE: The center position of the split rocker, medium rocker, and large rocker buttons cannot be used to actuate a button.
Colors Button assemblies are available in the following colors to match other Horizon 2 devices:
  • White (W)
  • White Glass (-GLASS-W)
  • Black (B)
  • Black Glass (-GLASS-B)
  • Almond (A)
Engraving Options Button assemblies are available engraved or blank:
  • Engraved: Button assemblies ordered with the ENGRAVED option are custom engraved prior to shipment.
  • Blank: Standard button assemblies can be ordered with the BLANK option and do not include custom engraving. Standard BLANK buttons can be used as is or can be custom engraved by a third-party engraver. Glass buttons can only be engraved by Crestron and are not sold blank.
