The TPS-TPI is designed to allow system designers to interface non-Crestron touchscreens with the Crestron control system, transforming the third-party touchscreen monitor into a full-featured Isys touchpanel. The TPS-TPI may also work with plasma displays equipped with a touch-sensitive overlay, interactive white boards, graphics tablets, and more.
The TPS-TPI includes support for touchscreen-based products from 3M/Microtouch®, SMART Technologies®, and others. Users also have the flexibility to navigate the graphical interface using an onscreen cursor driven by a serial mouse. Even without a touchscreen attached, the TPS-TPI makes an exceptional high-resolution graphics/display generator perfect for voting displays, kiosks, command centers, and more.
Adding an RGB graphics card to the TPS-TPI enables the display of computer signals with resolutions up to 1600 x 1200, which may be scaled to any size window. Video capability is just as easily added, enabling the display of up to two simultaneous full-motion video windows.
Audio features include built-in amplified stereo speakers, volume control, and line-level stereo input and output. Customized WAV files may be loaded on the TPS-TPI to provide audible feedback, button clicks, and voice prompts, which may be played through the built-in speakers or output to a sound system or external amplified speakers.
An optional high-speed Ethernet card may be installed to enable communication over IP with the control system, or with multiple control systems throughout a campus facility or worldwide.
