Converts up to four Crestron Home® CAT 5 balanced video signals to RCA unbalanced video.
The CNX-PBVR4 is designed for use with CNX-PVID8X3 and CNX-PVID8X4 video distribution switchers to enable redistribution of video return signals from up to four CNXRMCLV or C2N-DAP8RC room solution boxes. The CNX-PBVR4 installs at the head end to convert the CAT5 return signals to standard RCA unbalanced, allowing each signal to be connected to any available input on the switcher so that it may be distributed to any other room as if it were another head end source.
The CNX-PBVR4 can also be used anywhere it is necessary to convert multiple Crestron® CAT5 balanced video signals to feed conventional RCA type video inputs.
The CNX-PBVR4 is designed for transparent operation and contains no switching circuitry. Video compensation adjustments are included to maximize the performance of video over CAT5. The CNX-PBVR4 includes a dedicated external power pack and requires no connection to the Cresnet control network.
