The Yale Pro® 2 Deadbolt with Push Button Keypad and infiNET EX® Wireless Communication (Crestron CLK‑YL‑YRD614‑CR2 series) offers an advanced door lock solution for discerning homeowners. It eliminates the need to carry or lend keys by enabling the door to be locked and unlocked with a 4-8 digit PIN code using the push button keypad. Featuring infiNET EX® wireless communications2, the Yale Pro 2 deadbolt integrates with a Crestron automation system to enable secure remote monitoring and control via Crestron touch screens, personal computers, and mobile devices. Homeowners can selectively restrict or grant access to individual family members and guests with unique PIN codes.
Compared to the Yale Assure Lock® 2 available in retail, the Yale Pro 2 deadbolt offers several advantages. The Yale Pro 2 deadbolt's superior construction features a 90‑minute UL fire rating and coastal-grade attributes. The Yale Pro 2 deadbolt also can be configured quickly with or without the Yale mobile app.
Simple Installation
The Yale Pro 2 deadbolt installs in place of a standard deadbolt without any modification to the door and with no wiring required. It fits a standard exterior door with a thickness of 1 3/8 to 2 1/4 in. (35 to 57 mm).
PIN Code Access
Locking or unlocking the deadbolt is easily accomplished by entering a 4-8 digit PIN code. Multiple unique PIN codes are supported, including a Master PIN which can be used to access menu options and configure the lock. An optional “One-Touch Locking” feature allows for the deadbolt to be locked without a PIN code by simply tapping the Yale logo button. The deadbolt can also be operated with a thumbturn from the inside or a key from the outside. For unrestricted passage, select user PINs may be authorized to enable Passage Mode, allowing the door to remain unlocked when appropriate.
Automatic Relock
When enabled, this feature automatically relocks the deadbolt 30 seconds after it is unlocked using a PIN code. The automatic relock time can alternately be set to one, two, or three minutes. Passage Mode can be activated to keep the deadbolt unlocked for longer periods. The DoorSense™ feature can be enabled to lock the door only when it is fully closed.
infiNET EX Wireless Technology
The Yale Pro 2 deadbolt communicates with a Crestron control system via an infiNET EX wireless gateway (CEN-GW1 or CENI-GW1), and can function as part of a complete network of wireless locks, lighting dimmers, motorized shades, thermostats, keypads, handheld remotes, and other devices.2
Optional Yale Access Mobile App
In the event the internal batteries become too weak to operate the deadbolt, operation may be temporarily restored by holding a standard 9V battery across a pair of terminals positioned just below the keypad.
Low Power Access
In addition to setup and configuration, the Yale Access mobile app for iOS® and Android™ platforms can make use of the DoorSense sensor to determine if the door is open or closed. The app can also automatically lock and unlock the deadbolt based on geofencing and Bluetooth proximity.
Security and Privacy
In the event that incorrect PINs are repeatedly entered, the keypad temporarily shuts down. The deadbolt can also be managed through a Crestron touch screen, enabling remote control. Accessed from the touch screen, an activity log shows which user PINs were used on a particular door and when. Enhanced scheduling capabilities enable you to schedule specific times in which designated user PINs can unlock a door and repeat the schedule on a daily or weekly basis. Further options include setting pre-programmed triggers that route text and email alerts to mobile devices whenever a door is used.
